• Day Activities Group (DAG)

    • Activities are generally held on the Tuesday following the Thursday monthly members meeting and feature a range of activities including visits to local native gardens, art exhibitions and creative events related to native plants. Some years an extended excursion is arranged, visiting gardens on the south coast or other areas adjacent to the ACT.
    • Generally, all ‘local’ activities commence at 10:30am as the activity may be located a significant distance from Canberra. Please Note: Times and dates may change due to the availability of the location, times and supporting staff.
    • Members are to make their own travel arrangements and carpooling is encouraged.
    • We combine our activities with the ANPSA Garden Design Study Group (GDSG). Many garden owners welcome the advice of gardeners with lived experience in designing with and growing native plants and the combined insights of DAG and GDSG members represents a great deal of knowledge and expertise.
    • Garden visits may include morning tea and are followed by lunch at a café close to the location of the activity.
    • To register your interest in the DAG and receive emails detailing the next activity, go to the bottom of any ANPSC Mailchimp email (e.g. the ANPSC monthly Bulletin) and click on ‘update your preferences’.
