Privacy Policy

The Australian Native Plants Society – Canberra Region Inc. (the Society) is a non-profit organization incorporated under the ACT Associations Incorporation Act 1991. The Act requires the Society to maintain a register of members and to make that register available for inspection (Section 67).

In order to satisfy the requirements of the Act, the Society collects information about members including addresses and contact details.

The Society will not provide information about its members to other organizations or parties, except as required by law

The names, addresses and contact details of Office Bearers, Council Members, Committee Members, Group Leaders, and others undertaking ANPS duties may be published in Society media including, but not limited to, the Society’s internet websites, Journals, Bulletins, Books, Brochures and advertising materials. Such persons may, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, request the Society to not publish their addresses and contact details.
